One (ok, maybe two) shot(s) every day. My first year of dailies has been amazing, albeit with some twists and turns. I started on a random day in March. I finished off at Dec. 31 just to make life easier. In this year shot my first wedding, my first set of senior portaits, dozens of bike races, several new buildings. I upgraded to full-frame with the D700, got laid off only to find another job within a week. And last but not least, baby Ashley came along in late november. The majority of the shots from November therefore are daily baby photos.

I did my best to shoot something interesting, and to share the how’s and why’s. Photoshop and Lightroom are awesome and my main tools for post processing.

Thanks for looking; thanks for all the comments.

Jeff Lynch Photography > 2009-03-14 Saturday, we spent wandering around the public market on Granville Island. This was my favorite shot, but I'll post others as well when I get around to it. No photoshopping, just added my signature.
Jeff Lynch Photography > 2009-03-13 We headed for Vancouver BC for the night, and were pleasantly surprised with our 18th floor room downtown. Lots of cool scenery, and this was my favorite. Another gallery of these and our the rest of the time in Vancouver will be posted as well.
Jeff Lynch Photography > 2009-03-12 OK, so I'm a little lame. I made it just over a week before having to post something from the wrong day. Today I went x-country skiing and couldn't bring along a camera. I got up early, left work early, and went drinking until way too late for a solid pic. This one is from South Park. Lots of cool stuff to shoot there, and it's on the way home. More to come from this area.
Jeff Lynch Photography > 2009-03-11 Lots of polarization, lots of saturation made this come out cooler than I might've thought. I ran through South Park looking for some of these types of shots. There are a many others waiting to be taken! Also, I need to get over to Georgetown and explore some of the cool old brick buildings over there.
Jeff Lynch Photography > 2009-03-10 Anna and I went for a walk along Alki, and spotted this crazy guy kite surfing. It was about 34 degrees and windy. Now that’s dedication. No photoshopping to this one.
Jeff Lynch Photography > 2009-03-09 Daily photos are harder than I thought. During the work week, I go to work then come home. I really need to look hard to find something worth photographing. On the other hand, Odie and Misha are always good subjects for me. I took Misha's eyes from about 10' away then turned it black & white. I really would've liked to get a bit more clarity/reflection in her eyes.
Jeff Lynch Photography > 2009-03-08 This gull was amazingly nonplussed by the surroundings. He didn't mind me nor any amount of splash. We hung out, had a nice moment, and I moved on. I was trying to freeze the water by using high ISO, big aperature. The only photoshopping was a bit of a crop. Lots of others from my failed racing trip are under Bike Racing Photos, and Nature - Dungeness Spit
Jeff Lynch Photography > 2009-03-07 I was hoping for some close-up fisheyes of Odie, but he was having none of it. However, the sound of the remote flash got a head-tilt. He's getting older, and these are few and far between now. I just cropped this one.
Jeff Lynch Photography > 2009-03-06 I took advantage of the beautiful day and did some listing pics for Tammy. No amount of HDR can replace a nice sunny day!
Jeff Lynch Photography > 2009-03-05 Well, I created this gallery for the small stuff in my daily life; and on day #2, I've blown that away. This one is no such little thing! If you know what this is (I've recently learned), you'll know what I mean. Undoubtedly, more to follow with this theme. Hopefully all for the better this time.
Jeff Lynch Photography > 2009-03-04 My first daily photo - things are beginning to bloom, so I tried to do some macro to catch the beginnings of spring.
